Conemaugh and Loyalhanna spillways

Fishing has been tough due to lack of rain and high temps. I fished Loyalhanna spillway. I caught a few smallies and panfish.
I fished Conemaugh spillway. I caught 2 walleye and some smallies. The largest walleye was 22".
Both places are in Indiana county ( I think).

Casselman River

I finally got back to the Casselman river. It is my favorite. It is isolated and beautiful. The water is crystal clear. I'd have to say the best places I have fished are from Markleton down with Fort Hill being a great access point.
I have caught brown, rainbow, palomino, and brook trout. The river is full of smallmouth bass. There are a few pike too. I think they may come from Highpoint Lake which dumps into the Casselman.
Anyway, I caught four rainbow trout and at least twenty-five smallies.

Still fishing but not as much

Fished Locke 3 on the Allegheny river. I caught some smallies, a walleye, and two stripers.

Still exploring Two Lick creek

I am still exploring Two Lick creek, and I am impressed. There is an abundance of Smallmouth Bass, and some are pretty big. I caught another pike. The best fish was an 18" Brown trout that I released.
While I was there, I came across a snake eating a fish. This pic was taken with my cell phone.

Two Lick creek

The creek I am currently exploring is the Two Lick creek in Indiana county. I have fished it twice. the first time I started where it crosses under route 119. I fished for approximately an hour. I caught five Brown trout and two Smallmouth bass.
The second time I started where it crosses route 422, and I went upstream past route 954. I caught six Brown trout, five Smallmouth bass, and two Pike.

Overall, this is a pretty nice creek. I plan on checking out the section below 119 and another section below 422.
